Our art is created in our workshop from natural materials mostly found in the surrounding environment. Our work ranges from making small tea tools to the building of entire tea houses and other spaces; we create works for architectural use from lighting to large spacial partitions; and in contemporary art our work ranges from paintings and sculpture to spatial installations and events created with our art.

The world today, and much of traditional contemporary art, is overfilled with data, information and concepts to the point of violence or boredom. Although our world has greatly changed over the last century, too much of art today focuses on traditions from the beginnings of the past century. Too many of those traditions have become static and are unevolved for the world today.
It is important for contemporary art to nurture imagination, connection with the environment and the ability to feel from that connection. Such art brings people into a deeper connection to nature and daily life.
Working from nature, through to the use and user of our art, gives us a feeling of connection. The last millennia saw a growing focus on the division and classification of all life and activity. We believe this millennia is beginning a long journey, the search to again find and live in the connectivity of life. All of life is connected. It is with this belief that we wish to practice a different way of art, one that brings people into a deeper reverence with nature, each other and daily living. In doing so, we, the artists, also find deep connections with life, art and those who appreciate what we create.
